I am a Master’s student in the Agronomy Department while conducting my research in the Biological and Agricultural Engineering Department. I was born and raised in Buenos Aires, the capital city of Argentina, where our family is engaged in farming and ranching business. I obtained my undergraduate degree in Agronomy from the University of Buenos Aires (FA-UBA) in 2019. After graduation I worked at Indigo Agriculture for year and a half as an agronomist for R&D before moving to a farm in Buenos Aires Province as an on-farm row crop, pasture and cattle management agronomist. My work experience gave me a clear understanding of how farming and ranching operations work in Argentina which enabled me to develop a criterion for using inputs and machinery in a sustainable way, maximizing outputs using as few inputs as possible. At present, I’m conducting research, testing and validation on precision planting systems, specifically on row-crop planters and air-seeders. In my spare time I enjoy time with friends, sailing, running and traveling.
