Tomas Mayorga
I am a visiting scholar in the Biological and Agricultural Engineering Department at Kansas State University. I was born in San Isidoro, Argentina, which is a small town close to Buenos Aires, the capital city of my country. I moved to Buenos Aires where I studied Agronomy, in the UCA (Catholic University of Argentina). I finished my undergraduate degree in April 2023.
I served as an intern with CREA, which is a large private organization that focuses on research and development of tools, machinery that assist farmers to achieve their expectations and goals. I was part of the dairy production team and economic team.
On the FarmsLab Team I work primarily with the planter and sprayer projects. My main purpose with the lab is to learn new skills and to have the best experience possible. I enjoying working with students from all over the world, who I often learn new skills, points of view, forms of work and much more that I could not receive in my home country.
In my free time I enjoy playing sports, like soccer, tennis and going to the gym.
